Happy Goat Diner is a farm-to-table restaurant that takes pride in serving fresh, locally sourced ingredients in a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a Server/Waiter at Happy Goat, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities:

1. Greeting and seating guests with a friendly and welcoming attitude.

2. Providing detailed information about our menu items, including their farm-to-table origins and preparation techniques.

3. Taking and delivering accurate food and drink orders promptly.

4. Providing exceptional customer service, ensuring all guests' needs are met promptly and effectively.

5. Assisting guests with special dietary requirements or preferences, offering suitable alternatives from our menu.

6. Ensuring tables are clean, properly set, and presentable for each guest.

7. Collaborating with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.

8. Handling guest inquiries, complaints, and concerns professionally and promptly, escalating issues to the management when necessary.

9. Processing payments accurately and efficiently, using our POS system.

10. Maintaining a clean and organized work area, including the dining room, server station, and any other assigned areas.

11. Assisting in other areas of the restaurant as needed, such as hosting, bussing tables, and restocking supplies.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a server/waiter in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred.

2. Knowledge of farm-to-table concept and familiarity with locally sourced ingredients is a plus.

3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with guests.

4. Strong multitasking and organizational abilities to handle multiple tables and orders simultaneously.

5. Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure while delivering exceptional service.

6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.

7. Physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods and lift heavy trays or supplies.

8. A passion for outstanding customer service and a genuine interest in providing an exceptional dining experience.
