What are the responsibilities and job description for the Analytical Chemist position at Harba Solutions Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Design and validate analytical methods for assessing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Refine existing methods to boost accuracy, precision, and operational efficiency.
- Conduct routine and specialized testing of pharmaceutical products using techniques such as High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC), Gas Chromatography (GC), UV-Vis Spectroscopy, and other analytical instruments.
- Perform stability studies to evaluate product shelf life under various conditions.
- Interpret analytical data to ensure it aligns with established specifications.
- Compile detailed reports, including analytical results, method development summaries, and validation protocols.
- Document all experimental procedures in line with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and company SOPs.
- Ensure all analytical processes adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), FDA regulations, and other relevant guidelines.
- Assist in preparing regulatory documentation, including method validation reports and Certificates of Analysis.
- Collaborate with R&D and Quality Control teams to support product development, formulation, and production.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in analytical chemistry to continually improve processes and methodologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field. A Master’s degree or higher is a plus.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience in an analytical chemistry laboratory.
- Proficiency with analytical instrumentation and techniques, including HPLC, GC, MS, and FTIR.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality control standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
