Harrison Meadows Country Club is excited to announce the exceptional career opportunity of Lifeguard. We will have full and part-time seasonal positions available. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service.
Pay Range: $17 - $19 BOE
Key Responsibilities of the Lifeguard:
- Opening and closing the pool each day according to scheduled hours
- Closely monitoring activities related to the pool area, identifying any safety issues throughout shift
- Directing swimmers out of water in dangerous conditions
- Closely monitoring weather reports to make sure guests remain safe
- Overseeing pool parties
- Providing swim lessons and coaching swim team when applicable
- Maintaining a clean pool environment
- Provide the highest level customer service to our passholders and their guests
Current Certifications required - Minimum 2 yrs lifeguard experience in active pool situation.
Current American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification,
Valid American Red Cross CPR/AED for Pro Rescuer certificate.
Westchester County DOH requires annual certification for CPR/AED for Pro Rescuers
Lifeguards and other pool staff are prohibited from carrying CELL PHONES while on duty.
