Crushing Plant Operator

General Description: Responsible for the operation, maintenance and cleaning of the crushing facility and related equipment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Primary task - to reduce in size the slag material recovered from the main plant oversize screen and incoming loads of oversize from Approved Source Material Suppliers.
• Maintain crushing plant in a safe and efficient manner.
• Any and all mechanical repair.
• Any and all clean-up required.
• Recover any metallics from picking conveyor and put in proper place. Remove the rubbish from the slag prior to crushing.
• To record weights of metallic recovered and give to office assistant.
• Other duties as necessary.

• High School diploma or GED required
