What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Scheduling Coordinator position at Hart Family Dentistry?
Hart Family Dentistry is seeking an energetic, compassionate, and team-oriented individual for a full time scheduling coordinator to join our team. Our scheduling coordinator plays an important role in patient care. The first responsibility is providing the best patient care and meeting our patients needs. They coordinate, integrate, and represent all facets of patient services from the first phone call through continuing care compliance. They are responsible for filling the doctor and hygiene schedules in a balanced, customer service-oriented way.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Overall understanding of office philosophy and systems
- Providing quality care to patients from check-in to check-out.
- Receive phone calls and email inquiries
- Register new patients.
- Verify patient eligibility with their dental benefit plan.
- Confirm appointments and follow-up with patients as needed.
- Provide the patient with account and appointment information as requested.
- Sending correspondence to specialist offices
- Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times.
- Collect payments from patients
- Assist the doctor with providing prescriptions to patients as needed.
- Assist the doctor with providing referrals as needed.
- Support the doctor and other staff members by working collaboratively as a team player.
- Communicate with other dental offices for previous treatment records

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
