Hazen and Sawyer, Birmingham, Alabama is looking for a competent Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience on wastewater treatment and conveyance projects. Candidate will work on projects including initial studies, conveyance system conceptual designs, sewer infrastructure design, and asset management. Field work and site visits from preliminary design through construction may be required. Ideal candidate is a team player and self-starter with exceptional organizational skills and has the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment. Must have good communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. Must be detail oriented.

- Assist in drawing development and review
- Detailed design
- Review of sanitary sewer CCTV tapes
- Monitor design schedules, trends, and projections
- Prepare monthly status reports
- BS degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering
- PE preferred
- Design experience related to sanitary sewer projects
- GIS and CAD experience a plus
- Primavera P6 experience a plus
- Strong computer skills
