Job description:- NOC Firewall Managed Services (ASA/Clavister/Palo Alto/Checkpoint) Designing and maintaining the OIT managed firewall infrastructure. Provisioning firewalls, based on consultation with customer. Providing on-going support & Troubleshooting firewall infrastructure problems. Troubleshooting firewall related problems as reported by customers. Network design and Implementation of Firewalls. Required skills for Clavister Firewall Support:- Experience with Firewall & Network, such as Switching, Routing, IPSEC VPNs, Tunnelling and Security. Monitoring performance and availability of firewall devices using Customer Network Monitoring Tools Ensure all network security rules are configured according to least privileged access and best practices following standards. Access controls and firewall rulesets must be in place to ensure that users and Services only have access to the Networks they are authorized to use. Remediation of network security compliance reports generated daily, including the deviation of security standards configurations on a global scale. Management of security incidents alerts coming from ISP providers, such as Abuse notifications and potential security threats detected on customer network. Performing firewall replacements and firmware upgrades when required as part of network troubleshooting. Troubleshooting customer authentication incidents mostly related to OTR/ANC (Most common incident from users nowadays). Ensuring Clavister developed tools are maintained up to date with the correct information. Experience with NOC Project work like installation, setup and administration of NW devices. Deployment of network firewall in production environment. L2TP/VPN Endpoint knowledge is required. Key Responsibilities:- It s a key responsibility, being the main L3 routing device controlling dedicated bandwidth and IP addresses for customers (public and private), traffic shaping rules for all VLANs, providing DHCP services, keeping real time tracking of connected devices and generating onsite presence reports. Applications/tools such as OTR, Merripond, CDMP, ANC and Radius, were implemented and are currently maintained and administered by Clavister FW. (1.) To clearly understand the client's cybersecurity environment and respective product. (2.) To monitor, configure, and troubleshoot cybersecurity issues and related monitoring tools (3.) To analyse and validate cybersecurity incidents in-detail and help the L3 team with RCA/data or logs collection (4.) To enable knowledge transfer/trainings through creation/ maintenance of configuration documents, test plans, operational manuals and provide operational training to L1 team. (5.) To analyse and fine-tune cybersecurity policies, participate in cybersecurity review calls pertaining to change requests & recommendations on cybersecurity policy changes. (6.) To implement changes, monitor security device performance and implements performance tuning when necessary. (7.) To prepare analyses and reports to highlight the project progress/challenges and ensure quality and accuracy to the client
