Role : MFT Support Analyst – L3
The Managed File Transfer Administrator are expected to have a deep technical understanding of the Managed File Transfer(MFT) solution that is delivered through multiple products that can work standalone, or even better when together. Responsibilities include architecting integration solutions, performing installation, configuration, and day-to-day tasks associated with secure file transfers.
The Systems Engineer / Senior Systems Engineer - MFT provides technical leadership and is responsible for the overall service delivery and technical quality of one or more applications hosted by the IT Service Delivery team. This includes installation, configuration, maintenance and overall technical support of the MFT offerings. The primary application this individual will be responsible for will be Enterprise MFT services, which support the Managed File Transfer Solutions for different business lines.
Must have skills as below –
- 4 -6 years of experience in Sterling File Gateway v2.1, Sterling Integrator v 5.1, MFT.
- Ability to architect (SFG) solutions customized to specific business needs
- Solid understanding of Consumers and Producer relationships in SFG
- Creation of SFG Partners utilizing multiple protocols (e.g. FTP,SFTP,AS2)
- Solution design and implementation with Sterling Integrator, Sterling File Gateway
- Multiple OS experience (e.g. Windows, Linux, AIX etc)
- Experience and good troubleshooting skills in Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Integrator, Managed File Transfer.
- Respond to IBM Sterling/Opentext Enterprise Gateway Infrastructure Monitoring (server/performance alerts)
- Troubleshoot and resolve application supports teams’ problems
- Provide tier 2 & 3 support for incident resolution and service request processes for technical problems and IT issues, involving the file transfer applications and environments.
- Performs risk assessments for the application(s), and represents these to IT Management
- Review documentation and reports, and confer with management and users about format, distribution, and purpose, and to identify problems and improvements.
- Provide technical expertise in the planning, engineering, design, implementation and support of data management and integration system infrastructures and technologies. This includes the systems operational procedures and processes.
- Identifies and resolves of complex data management and integration system issues (Tier 3 support) utilizing product knowledge and structured troubleshooting tools and techniques.
- Monitoring responsibilities, ensure all system components have appropriate alerts in place
- Performance measurement, tuning and reporting

Compensation and Benefits
A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
Salary : $94,000 - $115,000
