Our Client, an clinic in Brooklyn is in search of a Medical Assistant for a full time day shift position.

Responsibilities :

Support healthcare providers in delivering patient care.
Perform basic medical tasks, including taking vital signs, administering medications, and collecting specimens.
Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
Maintain accurate and current medical records.
Assist with medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient data.
Ensure a clean, organized, and safe medical environment.

Qualifications :

Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training.

Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.

Previous experience in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

Compassionate, patient-focused care and excellent customer service skills.

Skills :

Knowledge of anatomy and physiology.

Hospital or healthcare experience.

BLS certification.

Medication administration proficiency.

Experience in patient care.

Medical administrative support.

Vital sign measurement proficiency.

Strong patient service and communication skills.
