What are the responsibilities and job description for the Internship - Hourly Intern I position at Health Research, Inc?
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Qualified candidates must be either an MPH or an MS Epidemiology student at SUNY Albany’s School of Public Health; AND must have completed at least 24 credits of coursework toward their degree including at least four of the core courses; AND must have maintained a GPA of 3.0 or better AND are unable to participate in an internship if on academic probation.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Biomedical Sciences concentration, familiarity with PCR, laboratory experience, data analysis experience
RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform laboratory assays to detect antibodies to SARS-CoV-2 in dried blood spots
Analyze data using computer software
Summarize results in oral presentation and written summary
DETAILS OF EMPLOYMENT 20 hrs a week for 12 weeks
September – December 2024
Flexible schedule between hours of 7:30a-4:30p
