HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Medical Assistant to fill an opening in Altamonte Springs, Florida.
Daily Responsibilities for Medical Assistant:
- Back office duties such as prepping and cleaning rooms, socking rooms, taking and recording patient vitals, documenting medical history and chief complaints, blood draws and injections
- Front office duties - check in check out, patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, assisting patients with questions
- Monday through Friday, from 8 to 5pm.
- 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant within a clinic setting experienced in front and back desk duties
- Phlebotomy AND injection experience
- Long tenures in job history (at least 1-2 jobs with 1.5-2 years tenure)
- Experience with the adult/geriatric populations
Preferred Qualifications for Medical Assistant:
- eCW experience
