Since six of every seven acres is designated public lands, the Valley is the perfect location for hiking, biking, horseback riding, trail running, rock climbing, boating, fishing and hunting. In the winter there are designated snowmobile routes and backcountry skiing.
All offers of employment are contingent upon the successful completion of a negative drug screen test*, criminal background check, reference checks, infection prevention procedures, TB test, Flu Shot, immunization records, and acknowledgement of policies

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
HRRMC's Rehab Department has an opening for an Occupational Therapist (OTR) or Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to work FT: 32 hours / week (8am to 4 pm). Shift includes two weekend days/month, weekend shift differential will be granted. Scope Statement
Occupational therapy services are provided for habilitation, rehabilitation, and the promotion of health and wellness to those who have or are at risk for developing an illness, injury, disease, disorder, condition, impairment, disability, activity limitation, or participation restriction. Occupational therapy addresses the physical, cognitive, psychosocial, sensory-perceptual, and other aspects of performance in a variety of contexts and environments to support engagement in occupations that affect physical and mental health, well-being, and quality of life. Facilitates mental health screenings, assessment, treatment and triage of care for identified individuals in a consultative capacity to minimize emotional or otherwise harm to the patient and maximize participation in the individual's plan of care. Provides quality occupational therapy care in all areas of rehabilitation by performing services at the preventive, acute and rehabilitative stages directed toward achieving increased functional independence and decreased functional decline and the need for more intensive care.

Essential Duties Per Area Of Responsibility
- Performs the duties per the Occupational Therapist Scope of Practice, including but not limited to:
- Examines patients with impairments, functional limitations, and disability or other
modifying therapeutic interventions.
- Prevents injury, impairments, functional limitations, and disability, including the
- Engages in consultation, education, and research.
- Maintains a record on each patient including physician orders, diagnosis, treatment,
patient charges for services rendered.
- Provides appropriate supervision of aides and assistants.
- Establishes the activities program for swing bed patients, contacting those patients in
- Actively participates in discharge planning.
- Appropriately delegates care to COTA
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Graduate of an occupational therapist Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate accredited degree program is required.
- Current, active Occupational Therapist License in Colorado or a permit from the licensing
