What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensed Practical Nurse position at Heath Village?
Our Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for supervision and of residents' care under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) responsibilities:
- Makes daily rounds on the unit in order to observe and evaluate physical and emotional status of nursing residents
- Provides comprehensive oversight to unit staff to assure nursing care is proved according to physician's order's.
- Analyzes and evaluates nursing staff needs as well as determines staffing requirements
- Assesses the needs of each resident, and implements the Resident Interim Care Plan
- Provides daily input to the Unit Manager for development of the resident care plan
- Performs generalized Charge Nurse duties
7 am-3:30 pm, including every other weekend
8 hours per day
