What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional + (Non-Medical)Transportation Driver position at Heinzerling Community?
Heinzerling Community has a great opportunity for a non-medical transportation driver. As a transportation driver you will get to interact with our amazing population of residents while safely transporting them to appointments and outings in the local community.
Pay: $20.25
Hours: Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm; hours may vary based on resident’s appointment needs.
Duties include:
- Provides transportation for individuals as needed in Heinzerling vehicles
- Operates lifts in a safe and proper manner according to operating procedures
- Assists residents with appointments and outings in the community
- Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle. Ensures vehicles are in working order and gas tank is maintained at required levels
- Maintains adequate personal hygiene of assigned residents; properly bathes, grooms, changes, dresses, feeds, and positions residents as necessary.

Position Requirements:
- Must be 21 or older
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Must have less than 5 points on driving record.
- CPR/FA certified
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
