Hematology Oncology Associates was established in Palm Beach County over 35 years ago, and has grown to include 10 Board Certified Hematologist and Oncologists and 6 Nurse Practitioners in 3 convenient locations within our community. Our goals are to provide state of the art cancer treatments with a high level of compassionate care in a warm inviting environment. We also specialize in treatment of coagulation blood disorders, leukemias and other hematologic benign conditions. Job Description

• Supervise daily laboratory operations, including specimen collection, processing, analysis, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, OSHA, and all other regulatory requirements.
• Oversee and perform testing in hematology, urinalysis, coagulation, and other relevant areas.
• Manage, train, and evaluate laboratory staff; ensure competency assessments and continuing education.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain quality control programs.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate the ordering and maintenance of lab supplies and equipment.
• Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to support patient care.
• Investigate and resolve technical and operational problems.
• Participate in laboratory inspections and ensure readiness for audits or accreditation reviews.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure timely and accurate test result reporting.
