Henry Horne is looking to hire an associate/senior associate for its research and development (R&D) tax credit consulting services team. You will be able to grow your technical expertise in this highly valued client service by working with an inspired team of professionals at the firm who are looking to make a positive impact on the clients they serve.

Job Responsibilities – will include, but are not limited to:
- Assists in Research and Development (R&D) Tax Credit consulting
- Researches, gathers, and analyzes financial and project data
- Works with the R&D team to conduct research and development tax credit consulting services, including participating in client interviews, performing tax technical research, and developing business and industry expertise
- Communicates directly with client personnel, including operations, finance, accounting, and engineering
- Prepares reports, tax forms and other documents as required
- Assist in managing and implementing multiple projects simultaneously, which include client interviews, computations, analysis, data gathering and coordination of Henry Horne and client resources
- Participates in client visits
- Participates in R&D tax credit studies and related activities
- Develops and sustains excellent client relationships during delivery of R&D tax credit services
- Seeks knowledge of and exposure to a variety of industries
- Participates in administrative planning, particularly continuing education and personal development
- Identifies opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients
Education and Experience:
- 1-3 years’ experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA or CPA candidate
- Knowledge of current R&D Tax Credit Laws
- Ability and willingness to travel and work at client locations
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communications and organizational skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong self-starter, enjoys working independently
- Proven analytical and critical thinking skills
- High proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Establishes strong relationships with executives, staff, clients, outside agencies, organizations and individuals
