HF Rubber Machinery, Inc., a subsidiary of the HF Mixing Group, is the global leader in the manufacturing of rubber and plastic processing equipment. HFRM, based in Topeka, Kansas is looking for a Warehouse Clerk. The Warehouse Clerk processes shipments to customers in accordance with shipment authorization forms forwarded by the Sales department. The Warehouse Clerk also, with assistance from the Production Planner, makes deliveries and pickups using company truck and must be able to operate a forklift and stacker equipment.
Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to:
• Stock all shelves and maintain proper paperwork for work orders and drawings.
• Weigh and label cartons for shipment by carrier designated on shipping order.
• Build crates and/or boxes for shipping.
• Assist in loading and unloading carriers.
• Prepare and process authorization forms (i.e., packing slips, shipping orders, bills of lading).
• Maintain shipment records by tally sheets or computer generate.
• Maintain appropriate files and timely processing of shipment and inventory paperwork.
• Drive company truck to post office or to occasional local delivery and subcontractors in Kansas.
• Assist in taking inventory by acting as checker for inventory supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of workplace and warehouse.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• SAP and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate, present information and answer questions clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers.
• Ability to analyze data or information by identifying the underlying principles, reasons or facts of information and using logic to address work-related issues and problems.
• Ability to organize, multi-task, plan, set priorities and exercise good judgment in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while maintaining strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of HFRM.
• Demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information and situations.
Physical Demands:
