About this role:
Seeking a senior-level Data Center Technician with deep expertise in maintaining the operational integrity and compliance of critical facility infrastructure. The role oversees mechanical systems (chilled water, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, humidification), electrical and critical power distribution (utility, generators, UPS to load), fire life safety systems, and communications infrastructure. Responsibilities also include ownership of structured cabling, main distribution spaces, and customer environments.
Responsibilities:
- 5–7 years of hands-on experience installing, operating, and troubleshooting complex commercial or industrial infrastructure, including chilled water plants, large chillers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, pumps, VFDs, HVAC systems, CRAC/CRAH units, humidification, and automated control systems (BMS/PLC).
- Strong leadership capabilities with demonstrated expertise in planning, pulling, dressing, and terminating fiber and copper cabling
- Experience diagnosing and repairing IT hardware, servers, network equipment, and structured cabling.
Location:
This is a fully onsite role in Secaucus, NJ.
Salary:
The budgeted salary is $41.96-$46.64/hr for this role a 10% bonus.
