In this vital role, you'll work on the frontlines, directly impacting individuals in their moments of greatest need by providing critical mobile crisis intervention services, fostering recovery, and helping prevent unnecessary emergency room visits or hospitalizations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide immediate mobile crisis intervention services in the community or a person’s home.
- Offer critical medically necessary services to patients at the Schwaller Crisis Center, ensuring all treatment aligns with individual recovery plans.
- Collaborate with treatment teams to provide feedback on patient progress and adjust care strategies.
- Respond to telehealth or mobile service needs as part of a flexible, on-call schedule, including after-hours shifts.
- Assist individuals to prevent unnecessary hospitalizations and reduce emergency department visits.
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete required training in a timely manner to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Engage with external partners and agencies to ensure holistic care and resources for patients.
- Provide transportation for patients as needed and maintain a valid driver’s license for travel to community-based assignments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in a human services-related field, or equivalent experience in human services with one year of related experience.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with individuals experiencing severe mental illness or emotional distress.
- Ability to respond effectively in high-stress situations and provide calm, professional support to those in crisis.
- Must pass all required background checks (KBI, DCF Child Abuse Check, Adult Abuse Registry, motor vehicle screens).
- Competency with technology such as computers, software applications, and other digital tools.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable driving record to meet the transportation needs of the role.
