Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Business Partner, Faculty role located in High Point, NC. The HR Business Partner will act as a trusted advisor, supporting faculty members and academic leadership in aligning HR initiatives with organizational goals. Responsibilities include developing HR policies, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor and employment laws, and overseeing performance management programs. The role also involves partnering closely with faculty to address HR needs while fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications
  • Comprehensive understanding of HR Policies and general Human Resources practices
  • Proven expertise in Employee Relations and Performance Management
  • Strong knowledge of Labor and Employment Law
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality in sensitive HR matters
  • Experience collaborating with diverse faculty and staff
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) is a plus
