HighMark Provisions is looking for passionate cannabis enthusiasts who are eager to learn more about the industry. The company is looking for Post Harvest & Packaging Technicians to assist in trimming cannabis and preparing products for sale in accordance with HMP's standard operating procedures. This is a full-time position, requiring at least 35 - 40 hours per week. The Post Harvest & Packaging Technicians must adhere to HighMark Provisions, LLC policies, and all state and local laws and regulations. The Post Harvest & Packaging Technicians may be asked to perform other duties as well.

Summary:

Under the supervision of the Production Supervisor, the Post Harvest & Packaging Technician executes and maintains all daily operations of the Production and Packaging Department to achieve company goals. The Post Harvest & Packaging Technician is also responsible for maintaining the company's policies and procedures and ensuring compliance with all state and local laws and regulations. There are a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:

  • The trimming and packaging of cannabis flower.
  • Preparation, production, and packaging of cannabis products.
  • Keeping track of all weights given by production leads from the start of an order until its completion on the appropriate record-keeping sheet. When weight discrepancies occur, immediately notify the production manager.
  • Maintaining policies and procedures for waste disposal and coordinating waste disposal upon order completion.
  • Assisting the Cultivation Team during harvests, if necessary.
  • Maintaining all trim and packaging equipment, cleaning it, and operating it safely.
  • Comply with all sanitation regulations and safety standards in the production of all extracted products produced by the company as outlined in its policy and procedure manuals.

Rate of Pay:

$20.00/hr

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be 21 years old.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Working knowledge of data systems and computer literacy is required.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Pass a comprehensive background check which is required.
  • Professional and cordial attitude.
  • A keen eye for detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Attendance is timely and reliable.
  • An individual who can take direction and is professional.
  • Dedicated and hardworking.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Perform repetitive tasks and focus on one task for an entire day.
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, and reaching are required, as well as lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
  • Full-Time availability.
