Location: Tampa, FL, this is an onsite position

An AV-rated insurance defense firm in the Tampa area is seeking a skilled Property Damage Attorney with 1-3 years of experience in first-party property insurance defense to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle first-party property damage cases, including coverage analysis, policy interpretation, and strategic defense planning.
- Draft, review, and analyze legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and reports to insurance carriers.
- Conduct depositions, interviews with experts, and court appearances for hearings, motions, and conferences.
- Utilize Westlaw for in-depth legal research to support case development and strategy.
- Engage with clients and carriers to provide updates and manage expectations throughout the litigation process.
Requirements:
- Active Florida Bar Membership.
- 1-3 years of experience in insurance defense, with a strong preference for first-party property damage cases.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex cases, manage discovery, and conduct depositions effectively.
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills, with attention to detail and case management.
