Job Description:
As an Insurance Defense Paralegal, you will play a critical role in supporting our experienced associates. This position involves a variety of tasks essential to the management of defense cases, including:
- Assisting with trial preparation
- E-filing and managing Court Maps
- Calendaring and scheduling
- Subpoena preparation and control
- Drafting correspondence
- Performing administrative tasks
- Handling billing and other standard legal assistant duties
Qualifications:
We are looking for organized, proactive candidates who are self-starters and possess the following experience and skills:
- Experience assisting with trial preparation
- Trial experience
- Proficiency in e-filing and Court Maps
- Strong calendaring and scheduling skills
- Experience in subpoena preparation and control
- Ability to draft correspondence and perform administrative tasks
- Billing and billable hours experience
- Recent experience in Bodily Injury, Insurance Defense, and First Party Property is preferred
