Inventory Receiving Specialist

Hiker Trailers is looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-focused Inventory & Parts Control Associate to help manage the flow of parts in and out of our operation. This role is about being the go-to person for keeping our inventory accurate, our parts inspected, and our warehouse space tidy and efficient.

What You’ll Do:

• Receive and inspect incoming parts from vendors for damage, accuracy, and quality
• Track, tag, and process damaged or defective parts returned by production
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas for maximum efficiency and accessibility
• Monitor stock levels and assist in keeping accurate inventory records
• Prep and ship parts orders to customers and vendors
• Operate a forklift for material handling

What You Bring:

• Experience with inventory control, receiving, or materials tracking (DSD or retail backroom experience is a plus)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining an organized space
• Comfortable using basic tools like spreadsheets, inventory software, or scanners
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work without constant supervision
• Able to lift/move materials and work on your feet in a shop environment
• Forklift experience

Bonus Points For:

• Prior experience inspecting mechanical or manufactured parts for quality issues
• Familiarity with trailer components or parts
• Problem-solving mindset with a “find it, fix it” attitude

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
