What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Instructor - Biology & Chemistry (In-Person) position at Hilbert College?
The Natural Sciences and Math department seeks qualified Biology and Chemistry adjuncts interested in teaching in-person College Biology, Genetics, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, College Chemistry, and Biochemistry lecture courses, including corresponding laboratory section(s), and other natural science general education courses such as Modern Topics in Biology, The Human Body, Nutrition, and Environmental Science. Candidates interested in teaching these lectures or lab courses are encouraged to apply.
Appointment/Start Date: January 2024 and ongoing
Requirements: A Master’s degree in the relevant field with laboratory experience is required. Prior teaching experience is preferred. Teaching excellence and professional experience are desired. Candidates available to teach during regular business hours are preferred.
To be considered for a full-time or part-time faculty position, applicants are required to submit the following:
Compensation: $2,500 for in-person undergraduate courses
Appointment/Start Date: January 2024 and ongoing
