Youth Services Program Coordinator, JTWP
Department: Job Training & Workforce Partnerships Pay Classification: H (100)
Reports To: Dean of Job Training FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Job Summary: Provides planning, oversight, and direction of the operations and activities of the Youth Services program. Offers comprehensive administrative support for Job Training & Workforce Partnerships and other division members, ensuring program goals and division objectives are met.
Minimum Required
Education: Associate’s Degree and five (5) years experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum Required
Experience: Three to five (3-5) years in K-12 education and/or youth programs.
Preferred: Experience in higher education, community relations, and/or related fields.
Core Duties and
Required Knowledge: Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, correspondence, recordkeeping, purchasing, and supply management.
Plan and implement youth services programs (e.g., Kids College, Girls in STEM, YES EXPOs) that align with the college’s mission and strategic goals.
Serve as primary liaison for youth services, providing information and program support to students, faculty, staff, and the public.
Maintain program records, requisition funds, process bills, and coordinate purchasing with the Business Office.
Write, monitor, and report on grant applications, collaborating with Institutional Advancement on submissions and compliance.
Collaborate with internal and external partners to expand opportunities, strengthen relationships, and support institutional outreach efforts.
Support the Dean in community engagement, civic initiatives, and strategic projects.
Assist with departmental budgeting, including tracking and reporting expenditures.

Engage in continuous improvement and strategic planning for program enhancement and growth.
Identify opportunities for new youth services initiatives and partnerships.
Collaboration: Collaborate with faculty, staff, community organizations, and external partners to promote and expand youth services programs
Foster a team-oriented environment within the department, contributing to a positive workplace culture.
Demonstrated Attributes: Detail-oriented and self-motivated, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to interact effectively at all organizational levels.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and uphold Hill College’s values and Code of Conduct.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook) and standard computing equipment.
Strong customer service skills, organizational abilities, and time management.
Demonstrated initiative and commitment to continuous learning.
Other Information: Security sensitive position.
May serve on institutional committees as needed
Occasional travel between campuses required.
Physical Requirements: Light work: exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Requires light bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying, and ladder climbing.
