What are the responsibilities and job description for the Resident Engineer position at Hill International Inc?
Hill International is seeking a Resident Engineer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
- Pre-construction phase services, including but not limited to, coordination of the field office, attending pre-construction meeting, and coordinating safety training
- Construction management phase services including but not limited to force account coordination, document control management, scheduling and chairing project meetings, coordinating monthly CM reports, and overseeing overall quality of construction
- Post-construction phase services including but not limited to final inspection, punch lists and coordinating testing and commissioning.
- Education or Training in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management
- 10 years of experience as a Construction Inspector or Resident Engineer in multiple discipline construction (Civil, Structural, Architectural).
- Station building experience
- Trained in OSHA 30 Hours construction safety.
- Proficient knowledge of construction work safety
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
