What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Dispatcher position at Hiller?
The Hiller Companies LLC, a national leader in the fire protection and security industry, is currently seeking a Field Service Coordinator to join our growing fire protection business at our Amesbury, MA location, conveniently located between I-495 and I-95. Daily responsibilities include scheduling service calls and inspections, provide support to our field technicians, assist with the billing of completed work, and work closely with the Service Manager. The ideal candidate is someone who will grow the position and make it their own.
Responsibilities:
Dispatch service/emergency calls, take messages, or redirect as appropriate.
Schedule and assign work to service technicians.
Review technician’s reports for completed work, update service management system, and provide pricing to billing department.
Verify job sites are ready for the technicians to perform work.
Pull permits with local fire departments as necessary.
Qualifications:
Customer service experience preferred (two years.)
Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office Platforms.
Effective written, verbal communication skills.
Detail oriented, self-motivated and ability to work with minimum supervision.
Assertive personality with a progressive and positive attitude.
Ability to perform duties with a sense of urgency.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
