Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Dance Instructor to join our team. As a Dance Instructor, you will have the opportunity to inspire and teach students of all ages. We are looking for a teacher who can teach Intermediate/Advanced Ballet and Beginning Tap. If you have a love for dance and enjoy working with children, this is the perfect position for you. Position would begin June 1.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement dance lesson plans for students in Intermediate/Advanced Ballet, and Beginning Tap classes.
- Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to help them improve their skills
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where students feel motivated and encouraged
- Monitor student progress and communicate with parents or guardians regarding their child's development
- Ensure the safety of all students during dance classes and rehearsals
Requirements:
- Strong background in dance specifically knowledge in Ballet and Tap.
- Experience working with children or teaching in an educational setting
- Availability on Monday afternoon/evenings, and Saturday mornings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage a classroom environment and maintain discipline while fostering a positive atmosphere
