Pool Attendant (Seasonal Full-Time)

We seek a reliable and trustworthy pool attendant to look after our guests and manage the pool area. In this role, you must welcome and attend to our guests, enforce safety rules, and manage pool equipment and facilities, among other duties.

 The Pool Attendant will be responsible for driving company success through performing the following tasks:

• Take the initiative to greet each guest immediately in a friendly/sincere warm acknowledgment. Providing exceptional customer service to every guest, including information about resort services, activities and local attractions
• Collect and replenish pool towels and monitor inventory to minimize loss while ensuring towels are stocked and dirty towels are removed. Maintain cleanliness of the fitness center and activities center
• Display professional image at all times through appearance and positive conduct, willing to "pitch-in" and help co- workers with their job duties and be outstanding teammate

Requirements:

• • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to details; enjoyment of cleaning having a strong sense of responsibility, reliability and integrity. Teamwork and collaboration.
  • Physically able to work from ladders, move furniture, operate cleaning equipment, and tolerate exposure to general cleaning chemicals.
  • Can tolerate environmental factors such as humidity, cold/heat, dust and noise. Ability to push and/or pull equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Able to efficiently perform basic arithmetic operations (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)

  It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Resort/hotel hospitality environment
  • Standard cash register experience with a basic understanding of opening and closing procedures
  • CPR Certification and First Aid certification
