As a Senior Analyst of Digital Marketing, you will be responsible for supporting Digital Marketing strategies by collecting and analyzing data, tracking online marketing trends, supporting campaign strategies, and optimizing and reporting performance for owned and paid digital campaigns. You will work closely with the rest of the digital strategy team and appropriate cross-functional team members, including external vendors or partners, and will be responsible for visualizing and presenting data with a high degree of business acumen. You will drive company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Gather and analyze data to provide insights to guide our optimizations, strategic decisions and overall business growth
- Create analyses, data visualizations and reporting applying tools such as SQL, Python, Google Analytics, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, and other relevant software to effectively convey meaningful insights
- Create succinct presentations to tell stories with a focus on actionable insights, and present findings and outcomes with confidence and clarity
- Use statistical rigor to solidify validity of findings and be able to explain those concepts to non-experts.
- Define and implement quality assurance procedures to ensure accuracy of analytical output on a regular cadence.
- Apply business and analytical expertise to independently perform proactive analysis and communicate opportunities or issues
- Support new marketing channel expansion and process improvements
- Deliver timely recurring reports, respond to ad-hoc requests, and develop automated processes where possible
- Conduct research and analyze benchmarking data
To fulfill this role optimally, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:
- 3 years of analytical experience in Digital Marketing or e-Commerce
- Strong understanding of performance marketing, campaign analysis, web tracking, and media measurement, with experience setting up reporting dashboards
- Proven ability to translate complex data into easy-to-understand information and derive actionable insights from data to effectively guide decision-making
- Ability to identify and diagnose data inconsistencies and errors, and reconcile data from multiple sources
- Proactive curiosity to understand the “Why” behind performance, decisions, etc.
- Ability to think strategically and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Proven ability to balance multiple projects and timelines with attention to detail and accuracy
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written and visual)
- Highly proficient in Google Analytics (GA4 preferred), SQL, Excel and PowerPoint for data extraction, manipulation, and communication
