Kitchen Supervisor
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (other Duties May Be Assigned)
- Assisting, supporting, training and developing kitchen team members.
- Preparing fish, meats, and other food items according to recipes and company standards.
- Overseeing work of other kitchen team members.
- Inspecting all food sent from the kitchen visually.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, cleanliness and sanitation standards.
- Preparing requisitions for food and supplies, as needed.
- Assisting with menu development.
- Two or more years of related culinary experience, including supervisory experience, is strongly preferred.
- Kansas City Food Handler permit is required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays to meet business needs.
- Ability to demonstrate knowledge of menu and all food products.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
- Ability to make continuous and repetitive arm-hand movements (i.e. slicing or chopping food).
- Ability to bend or stoop repeatedly during the shift (i.e. removing items from stoves, ovens and refrigerators).
- Ability to lift and carry between 20-50 lbs over short distances (20 feet or less).
- $20.00 - $22.00 per hour starting pay.
- $500 bonus after your first 90 days.
