About The Role
We are seeking a Transportation Project Manager to lead IDOT Phase I, II, and/or III projects across multiple offices. This role includes managing project backlog, overseeing design efforts, and building strong client relationships while supporting business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage IDOT Phase I and II engineering projects, as well as County and Municipal transportation projects
- Oversee multiple projects simultaneously and track schedules, budgets, and deliverables
- Maintain and grow client relationships; collaborate with Business Development on IDOT PTB pursuits
- Mentor and manage engineering staff to ensure quality and efficiency
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Illinois or ability to obtain
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil preferred)
- 10 years of experience with IDOT roadway and bridge design projects
- Experience managing and mentoring civil engineering teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365, MicroStation/OpenRoads, and Adobe (AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus)
- Strong communication skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
