Position Summary:
The purpose of this position is to develop, manage and control new model development activities related to the startup strategy through mass production of new products and processes.

- Execute new model development activities per Hitachi Astemo guidelines. - Develop product feasibility studies to ensure manufacturing processes have merit. - Work with the process development team to ensure manufacturing equipment is of high economic value. Thoroughly evaluate all processes for reduction of unnecessary process time, energy consumption and manpower requirements. - Work with EHS to ensure that all process and equipment designs are safe from immediate aspect, as well as long term and ergonomic safety aspects - Work with the process development team to ensure process and equipment design is Cpk capable and contain 100% measurement where less than 1.33 Cpk is predicted. - Work with the Development Team to create a solid project plan that is low in risk of achieving profit goals and gains the approval of the appropriate Hitachi Astemo personnel. |
