The Opportunity
Join HKA as an FP&A Specialist and help shape strategic decisions across the Americas. You’ll work closely with senior leaders to drive performance, support growth initiatives, and bring clarity to complex financial data—all within a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values innovation and continuous learning.
Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis
- Support the production of Americas Service Line budgets and monthly forecasts
- Prepare monthly variance analysis and identify opportunities for improvement
- Deliver weekly and monthly KPI analysis for the Operational Management Team
- Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports to support decision-making
Strategic Insights & Modeling
- Analyze financial data to uncover trends, risks, and growth opportunities
- Analyze key drivers of past and projected performance
- Provide insights on business, project, and individual performance across the Americas
- Develop and maintain complex financial models for decision-making
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Collaborate with regional C-Suite to support local strategy with financial insights
- Build strong relationships with U.S. and Canadian partners to align finance and commercial teams
Process Improvement & Governance
- Improve financial processes, systems, and reporting for greater efficiency
- Identify process gaps and implement improvements with Finance leadership
- Ensure compliance with global pricing strategy and governance
- Review and comment on cost center performance
M&A and Special Projects
- Support due diligence for local M&A activity (as needed)
Qualifications, Skills And Experience
- Ability to be in-office (Philadelphia) 2 days per week
- 3 years in FP&A roles demonstrating expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting
- 1 years' experience working in a professional services or consulting company
- Strong accounting knowledge
- Advanced Excel and database management skills
- Experience with Power BI and relational databases (Quickbase/Access)
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Self-driven, detail-oriented, and adaptable
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- MBA/CFA/CPA preferred
