GENERAL POSITION OVERVIEW
The Accounts Payable Coordinator performs accounts payable duties under moderate supervision.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Audit AP Invoices
- Communicate with the input user for incorrect agent file (invoice).
- Set invoices up for AP payments (AP Invoice SAP Interface)
- Track invoices and check the vendor list by due date
- Provide supporting documentation for audits
- Maintain & update vendor files
- Organize and filing invoices and place into storage
- Handle vendor inquiries
- Heavy lifting of filing boxes
- Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills, must possess good computer aptitude (excel,
- Must also be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, work independently/be a team player
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Must have ability to multi-task and possess a strong commitment to accuracy and detail of A/P invoices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Requires associate degree in Accounting or equivalent education and experience
- Requires at least 3 years of experience in Accounting
- Preferred two or more years of AP experience in a high volume environment
