GENERAL POSITION OVERVIEW

Manage and Oversee GA and Banking functions. Approval of invoices/bills and Employee Reimbursement expenses. Preparation of financial statements and related reporting including consolidation of subsidiary companies. Periodic reporting of consolidated financial statements to Parent company in Korea. Manage and prepare for External Accounting Audit including support of subsidiary companies. Prepare for Internal Control Audit by HQ. Manage and prepare Corporate Tax Return documents including providing support for the Accounting Firm preparing the tax returns. Preparation and filing of government surveys including Bureau of Economic Census and US (United States) Census Bureau. Manage property tax filing and payment process. Manage Filing of State Annual Report and Registration including local business licenses.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

• Manage GA/Banking personnel and provide guidance and direction
• Manage and maintain transactions in SAP and COMPASS system and reconciliation of accounts
• Manage budget in both SAP and COMPASS system and perform analysis
• Manage A/P, A/R, and Banking function within GA
• Preparation of Consolidated Financial Reporting and supports for Corporate Tax Returns (Federal and States)
• Oversee property tax rendition and payment processing
• Assist and support other departments as needed requested including various request from Seoul-HQ
• Preparation of Annual Internal Control Audit and External Audit of Financial Statements
• Maintenance of Stock Ledger/Register and Issuance of Stock Certificate
• Manage corporation annual registration and compliances
• Manage proper uploading of payroll data and ensure accuracy
• Regular communication with HQ in Seoul

QUALIFICATIONS

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

• Experience in Federal and Local Corporate tax structures
• Experience in Arm's-length transaction and application of Transfer Pricing
• Experience in application and interpretation of US GAAP / IFRS
• Experience in ERP system and Multi Company environment
• Experience in multiple subsidiary company structures and multiple locations in various states and authorities.
• Experience in consolidation of financial statements of subsidiaries and reporting to parent company
• Experience and knowledge in utilizing and maintaining SAP or another ERP system
• In-depth knowledge of US GAAP / IFRS
• General knowledge of accounting in all aspects of financial and managerial accounting
• General knowledge in interpretation of corporate tax code (Federal & State)
• General knowledge of corporate law and UCC codes
• Skill in MS Office especially in Excel
• Korean language is required due to high communication with Seoul -HQ Management

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Requires bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Requires at least 5 years’ experience managing accounting functions
