Role Description
The Accounting Officer is a full-time, on-site position based in Burlington, VT. The role involves managing financial transactions, preparing accurate reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial records, assisting in financial planning, and collaborating with team members to maintain accurate bookkeeping. The Accounting Officer will also support audits, monitor budgets, and contribute to operational efficiency by adhering to company policies and best practices.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Accounting, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting
- Strong attention to detail, Analytical Thinking, and Problem-Solving Skills
- Experience in Financial Compliance, Internal Auditing, and Data Accuracy
- Proficiency in Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
- Solid Communication and Team Collaboration Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the automotive industry
