What does a Sales Pro & Lot Attendant at Hoffman Auto Group do?
Role Purpose
This role focuses on guaranteeing a world-class customer experience by mastering product knowledge, completing vehicle deliveries, and providing overall support to sales staff.
Leadership
This role does not lead others.
Core Accountabilities
- Ensure an exceptional customer experience by mastering Porsche and competitor product and technology knowledge.
- Coordinate and complete vehicle deliveries, guaranteeing that each customer is provided with a thorough and comprehensive overview of the vehicle and all relevant technology and information. Follow up with customers after vehicle deliveries to ensure continued satisfaction.
- Keep sales management and staff aware of new product information, changes, and/or updates.
- Act as a liaison between the sales and service departments by providing non-technical product support to service customers.
- As needed, represent Hoffman Porsche and manufacturer with the utmost professionalism at dealer and local events.
- Responsible for general Lot Attendant duties, including but not limited to: arranging new and used vehicles on the lot in neat and attractive manner, running various business-related errands (DMV, fueling, emissions, swaps), dusting all vehicles on the showroom floor on a daily basis, and assisting with trash and snow removal as needed.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned, including but not limited to: training sales and service staff on key Porsche technology and terminology, coordinate and conduct New Owner Clinics for customers, and answer product questions through technology or in-person.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 1-2 years’ experience in a sales orientated environment preferred
- Can adapt and embrace change with an internal and external customer centric mindset
- Act as an advocate for teammates and have a strong commitment to technology advancement
- Possesses effective communication skills: oral, written, listening.
- Works well with customers, promotes a positive image of the company, strives to solve issues raised by customers.
