Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Breakfast Attendant to join our team at the Spark by Hilton. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience. You will assist in the preparation and presentation of breakfast items, maintain cleanliness in the dining area, and support guests with any inquiries or requests. Weekends Only Saturday and Sunday.

Responsibilities

• Set up and replenish the breakfast buffet with fresh food items and beverages.
• Ensure all food items are presented attractively and adhere to food safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly and assisting them with their breakfast needs.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and serving stations.
• Monitor food inventory levels and report any shortages or issues to management.
• Assist with coffee preparation and ensure that it is served fresh throughout breakfast hours.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, demonstrating strong phone etiquette when necessary.

Skills

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure a safe dining environment.
• Proficient in coffee preparation techniques and equipment operation.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with good phone etiquette.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Basic knife skills for food preparation tasks as needed.
