Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various areas, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable environment for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Perform custodial duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas
- Make beds and change linens
- Restock supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Empty trash bins and dispose of waste properly
- Perform floor care tasks, including carpet cleaning and floor polishing
- Follow established cleaning procedures to maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Adhere to safety guidelines and use appropriate cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance issues or repairs needed to the Housekeeping Manager
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and urgency
- Good communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including standing, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy objects
