What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeping / Room Attendant (Full-Time or Part-Time) position at Holiday Inn Express and Suites?
The brand new SpringHill Suites by Marriott Kenosha is looking for a thorough housekeeper with excellent cleanliness standards to attend all areas of our facilities. Housekeepers play a crucial role in our properties operations and ensure a delightful guest experience. Housekeepers will clean hotel suites and public spaces to Marriott brand standards to ensure a clean and welcoming atmosphere. Housekeeping staff primarily clean and arrange hotel suites and public areas, anticipate and exceed guest expectations, and work collaboratively with other departments to resolve guest issues.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and arranging guest suites to brand standard
- Replenishing and replacing amenities, toiletries, linen, and other in suite collateral
- Disinfecting suite and restroom surfaces
- Collaborate and communicate maintenance issues to necessary departments
- Build connections with guests to ensure guest satisfaction
- Maintain professionalism in accordance with Marriott brand standards and management expectations
- Take on additional tasks as necessary by housekeeping or hotel leadership
Must be able to:
- Speak, read, and write in primary language(s) used in the workplace
- Work 8 hours per day; stand and walk frequently throughout the workday
- Lift, lower, and maneuver up to 30 pounds occasionally
- Reach, bend, stoop, and pivot frequently throughout the workday
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $15.50 per hour
