We are looking for a Handy Man to join our team and help with a variety of tasks around the office. The ideal candidate will have experience in carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and other general maintenance duties. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and efficiently to complete projects in a timely manner. We are looking for someone who is reliable, organized, and detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Troubleshoot and repair throughout the hotel
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inventory, and equipment status.
- Repair and maintain plumbing systems.
- Repair and maintain electrical systems.
- Repair and maintain HVAC systems.
- Repair and maintain carpentry work.
- Perform general maintenance tasks such as painting, drywall repair, and minor repairs.
- Perform minor repairs on appliances.
- Perform general yard work such as mowing, trimming, and weeding.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance or a related field.
- Strong electrical skills with the ability to read schematics and perform troubleshooting.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on communication and problem-solving.
- Leadership abilities to guide team members effectively during projects.
- A proactive approach to identifying issues before they become major problems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
