What are the responsibilities and job description for the Road Patrol Officer position at Holmes County Sheriff's Office?
Under direction, the Road Patrol Officer patrols the county, responds to assigned emergency and non-emergency calls, and aids other officers and agencies.
High school diploma or equivalency; completion of basic training as required by OPOTC; one (1) years experience as a certified Ohio Peace Officer and be current in Continuing Professional Training (CPT’s), or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Must hold a valid State of Ohio vehicle operator's license with an acceptable driving record. Must meet semi-annual qualification standards for firearm use and possession. An individual who poses a direct threat to the health and safety of himself/herself or other in the workplace will be deemed not qualified for this position.

Pay: From $24.63 per hour
