This position works in both an office and warehouse setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and may need to use standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers from time to time.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly sit at a desk and work on a computer, as well as lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
This is a full-time position. Current days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00AM. to 5:00 PM.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED is required. Associate degree in Business or related field with coursework in purchasing and/or inventory control management, preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years previous experience in buying or purchasing, preferably in an environment with 10.000 SKU’s and working with multiple countries, including China and Italy.
- Proven negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to exercise tact, courtesy, and ethics when dealing with vendors, co-workers, and customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software. SAP is required; SAP B1 is a plus.
- Hard working and on-time.
- Advanced computer skills with email and Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, required.

Salary : $35,000 - $42,500
