Future Opening: Warehouse Clerk

We are a leading manufacturer and distributor in the Catholic and Inspirational Gift industry seeking a warehouse clerk to join our team! You will work with the sales team and warehouse team to service our customers’ needs by filling orders accurately and completely in a wholesale environment (business customers only, no consumers.) In order to succeed in this role, you will be self-motivated, energetic, driven with a "go-getter" personality, and customer service oriented!

Responsibilities:

· Must be able to pick, pack, and ship products to our customers without errors, as well as assemble/build items as needed.

· Assist in receiving orders, replenishing stock and maintaining the warehouse and our inventory in an organized manner.

· Assist in unloading of delivery trucks and checking/receiving new merchandise into inventory.

· Review customer orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed or shipped.

· Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.

· Be able to perform physical inventories and cycle counts as needed/directed.

· Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for salespeople and other traffic.

· Prepare parcels for mailing via USPS, UPS, Fed Ex, DHL or pallet/truck as directed.

· Sweep, dust and mop; always organize warehouse and work area for cleanliness and orderliness.

· You must be detail oriented, so orders get out the door on-time and accurately.

· Must be flexible and willing to change focus and direction as needed, as priorities sometimes shift and you need to be able to change direction as business needs change.

Work Environment:

This position works in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, and standard warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, box cutters and tape dispensers.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit and climb or balance. The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Current days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM. to 5:30 PM.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent;
• 3-5 years previous experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in an environment with many SKU’s;
• Hard working and on-time;
• Well organized
• Cooperative and easily able to get along with others;
• Deadline and detail-oriented to ensure the proper orders get shipped to the proper customers on time and accurately;
• Computer skills with email, Word, and shipping software is required. SAP Experience a plus.
