Responsibilities
Responsible for the set-up and operation of the press in an orderly, accurate and efficient manner per customer orders and the direction of the Printing Supervisor. Essential functions are:
Feed extremely large sheets of corrugated material into press, accurate production reporting in computer. Confer with supervisor regarding orders to be manufactured. Constantly monitor quality of product as per accepted standards as set by the company. Assist in training and interaction of crews. Must be able to read and understand a tape measure, all orders including special instructions, spec cards and print cards. Must be able to read and understand a micrometer, and PH meter. Must be able to stand on a continuous basis for an extended period of time. Continuous bending, stooping and reaching. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds for an extended period of time. Perform preventative maintenance and practice good housekeeping.
Must be willing and able to work overtime, perform all other duties as assigned by supervisor.
