Responsibilities for Quality Control Technician

  • Develop and maintain inspection reports
  • Ensure compliance to federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications
  • Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
  • Perform inspections across all stages of production
  • Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
  • Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
  • Evaluate products to verify compliance with quality standards.

Qualifications


Qualifications for Quality Control Technician

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or manufacturing experience
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information with a strong attention to detail
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management system
  • Experience with FAIs, PPAPs and APQPs a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to read/understand engineering drawings
  • Internal auditing experience, a plus
