Responsibilities for Quality Control Technician
- Develop and maintain inspection reports
- Ensure compliance to federal and state laws, as well as company standards and specifications
- Maintain calibration of quality control equipment
- Perform inspections across all stages of production
- Identify areas for quality control improvement and implement new methods accordingly
- Communicate quality or compliance concerns with urgency
- Evaluate products to verify compliance with quality standards.
Qualifications
Qualifications for Quality Control Technician
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Minimum of 2-5 years of inspection and/or manufacturing experience
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- Excellent organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret information with a strong attention to detail
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or similar quality management system
- Experience with FAIs, PPAPs and APQPs a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read/understand engineering drawings
- Internal auditing experience, a plus
