Responsibilities of this position include:
- Capability Analyst within the Enterprise Issue Management (OEIM) Capability Management team.
- accountable for working with stakeholders and business customers to collecting business process, data and system requirements in order to create and refine user stories for our Enterprise Issue Management Agile tech delivery Teams.
- This role is assigned to an Agile delivery team operationally reporting to a Sr. Analyst and Agile Capability Owner (product Owner) for support and work distribution.
Responsibilities of this position include:
- Advocate on behalf of Enterprise Issue Management to support our external customers (constituents) and Enterprise standards.
- Advocate on behalf of the customer (internal UHG) with the development team to ensure that requirements are understood, and customer value is delivered.
- Collaborate with the Agile Capability Owner (ACO) to conduct analysis of business requests for the creation of Capabilities (Epics), Features and User Stories, and support prioritization of these artifacts.
- Facilitate working sessions with business subject matter experts (SMEs) and Issue Management Partners (IMPs) to extract and adapt business requirements and identify their process needs for Enterprise Issue Management technology.
- Document business needs within templates, wireframes, and Agile artifacts.
- Utilize documentation to translate business process needs for the Technology Team, to enable IT to define and document viable solutions that meet business requirements.
- Lead User Story refinement discussions with development teams to clarify requirements and finalize acceptance criteria
- Partner with the ACO to assist in preparing for the Program increment (PI) Planning meeting.
- Collaborate with other Capability Analysts to assist with writing and peer reviewing work.
- Be available to development teams to answer questions as the Voice of all customer types.
- Continually build domain knowledge and technical expertise.
- Support deployment of functionality, assist training team and answer end-user questions.
- Agile Methodology: strong understanding of agile practices and the ability to apply them at scale Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) or Scalable Agile Method - (OSAM)
- Functional Breakdown of Agile Artifacts – effectively carve up Epics (Strategic Themes and Capabilities) and Features into deliverable components.
- User Story Development: define customer needs and acceptance criteria to describe customer requirements.
- Requirements Solicitation: facilitate requirement gathering sessions with business partners and customers.
- Technical Acumen: A broad familiarity with core technology and digital concepts including system integrations, APIs and web-based applications.
