What are the responsibilities and job description for the Barback/Busser - $14.00 per hour + tips position at HOTEL EMMA MANAGEMENT LLC?
Primary Responsibilities:
Duties are as follows but not limited to:
- Clean and set tables to Sternewirth standards.
- Deposit dishes appropriately in the dish room or other specified area.
- Pull dirty plates from tables while guests are still seated.
- Stock bussing stations.
- Deliver required food plates or beverages as necessary.
- Provide quick and attentive assistance to any mishap in the restaurant.
- Assist in room service as needed.
- Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary.
- Stock and refill ice.
- Ensure proper stock of spirits, wines, and beer.
- Change kegs when needed.
- Fill and operate dishwasher.
- Polish and stock glassware.
- Prepare, stock and replenish garnishes as needed.
- Perform opening and closing tasks as specified on checklist.
Job Requirements:
- Position requires effective communication with departments and team.
- Ability to present and conduct oneself professionally and emulates the Hotel Emma culture.
- Minimum knowledge, previous experience not required.
- Flexible schedule required, to include AM/PM, weekends and holidays.
- The Barback and Busperson must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
